Killer: Aileen Wuornos
Victims: 7
Song background: Aileen Wuornos had a hard life. She never knew her father, a schizophrenic pedophile, and her mother left her and her brother in the care of her parents. She was often beaten and molested by her grandfather and became pregnant at the age of 14 after being raped by one of his friends. It wasn't until she met a hotel maid named Tyria Moore that she gained some stability in her life. They moved in together, Aileen supporting the couple through prostitution. Between November 1989 and November 1990, Aileen shot and killed seven men, all of whom she initially claimed had attempted to rape her. When Aileen was arrested in January 1991, police suspected Tyria of being an accomplice. In exchange for immunity, police allowed Tyria to make a series of surveilled phone calls to Aileen in jail. Aileen's fate was sealed when she told Tyria "I love you. I really do...I'm not gonna let you go to jail. Listen, if I have to confess, I will."
lyrics
Come with me love, let's leave this place
I can't stay here long enough to plead my case
But I promise you that whatever I do
I would do anything it takes just to make it up to you
This was the last call for love tonight
I'm glad that I took the chance tonight
It won't be long before I am back home to you
I know that I promised you that I was through
But I promised you that whatever I do
I would do anything it takes just to make it up to you
This was the last call for love tonight
I'm glad that I took the chance tonight
And it's true that love never plays by the rules
I knew that from the moment I first met you
This was the last call for love tonight
I'm glad that I took the chance tonight
