Killer: Albert Fish
Victims: at least 4
Song background: Edward Budd took out an classified ad for employment, and Albert Fish answered the call, posing as a farmer named Frank Howard. While there, he met Edward's 10-year-old sister Grace. Having charmed the elder Budds, he asked if he could take Grace to a birthday party, which they agreed to. Fish told the rest of the story in an anonymous letter to the Budds that nevertheless led to his capture: "I took her to an empty house in Westchester I had already picked out. When we got there, I told her to remain outside. She picked wildflowers. I went upstairs and stripped all my clothes off. I knew if I did not I would get her blood on them. When all was ready I went to the window and called her. Then I hid in a closet until she was in the room. When she saw me all naked she began to cry and tried to run down the stairs. I grabbed her and she said she would tell her mamma. First I stripped her naked. How she did kick – bite and scratch. I choked her to death, then cut her in small pieces so I could take my meat to my rooms. Cook and eat it. How sweet and tender her little ass was roasted in the oven. It took me 9 days to eat her entire body. I did not fuck her tho I could of had I wished. She died a virgin."
lyrics
sweet and tender gracie
let me take you for a ride
just you and me, i know of a little cottage in the countryside
just come for a visit
and i will be your guide
i'll take you along to see my little cottage in the countryside
poor little girl, you don't see many good times
and a girl like you deserves to smile
chances like this come once in a lifetime
so come along, it will be worth your while
just climb aboard this coach car
and i will be your guide
railroad out to a little cottage in the countryside
you can pick wildflowers
till it's time to come inside
little cottage in the countryside
the room at the top is lovely
and there's no need to hide
it's heaven on earth here little cottage in the countryside
poor little girl, you don't see many good times
and a girl like you deserves to smile
chances like this come once in a lifetime
so come along, it will be worth your while
oh, sweet and tender gracie
let me take you for a ride
just you and me together
nevermind the weather
cuz you've got a one-way ticket to a little cottage in the countryside
